The Liebster

It's been a long time since anyone's given me a blog award, but this week Sarah of Inklined gave me the Liebster! Thanks, Sarah!

Here are the rules:
Thank and link back to the person who nominated you. (See above.)
List 11 facts about yourself.
Answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger who nominated you.
Nominate 9 bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers.
Ask them 11 questions.
Let them know about the nomination.

 Facts about me:
  1. I currently sport the second worst bout of poison ivy I've ever had.
  2. I am taking an online mystery writing class.
  3. I will be going to college in the fall.
  4. I don't know what I'm going to study yet.
  5. Top three choices are chemical technology, biotechnology, and radiology.
  6. I got typewriter key jewelry this weekend and IT IS AWESOME.
  7. I started listening to audiobooks whilst doing chores like weeding the garden or washing dishes. Chores have never been so much fun.
  8. My favorite audiobook narrator is Katherine Kellgren. She's amazing.
  9. I've been listening to a lot of Terry Pratchett recently.
  10. Despite our best efforts, my family has not found a good ship name for Moist von Lipwig and Adora Belle Dearheart. Lipheart? Dearwig? Moira Belle? Adoist?
  11. I finally figured out why my computer acts slow sometimes. There is an update that's been failing since June of last year, and my dad and I have yet to figure out how to make it update successfully.

Sarah's questions:

1. Favorite drink? Favorite soft drink? Hot chocolate. The dark stuff. With lots of whipped cream. Yum. I don't have soft drinks very often, so my favorite varies. Right now it's probably the cream soda my family bought in a dinky little grocery store after the car broke down.

2. Which bloggers would you most like to meet in person? Sarah, S. Alex Martin (whose blog I don't actually read but I beta read for him last year and he's awesome), Liam, Head Phil, and Robyn Hoode (who JUST got a blog. Go check it out!)

3. What are some of your favorite YouTube Channels? The Piano Guys, Blimey Cow, and The Vlogbrothers.

4. If you could resurrect one fictional character, (who died in the novel) who would it be? Ooh. Since my answer is spoilerific, I'll make you highlight it to see it. Don't read if you haven't finished the Harry Potter series. Tonks and Lupin. Or Fred. Their deaths hurt. Or maybe these guys from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn books. Again, spoilers: Vin and Elend. I adored them so much, and I didn't see their deaths coming. Though I do admit, their deaths were really well done.

5. Favorite ice cream flavor/ concoction? (Cone, milkshake, ice cream cake, ect.) Anything with chocolate, or raspberry. As for concoction, it's a toss up between a sundae and ice cream cake.

6. If you could instantly master one hobby besides blogging and writing, what would it be? Archery. I've never taken archery classes or anything like that, but I've wanted to try it for a while now.

7. How do you like your eggs cooked? Scrambled or in an omelet with onions, garlic, mushrooms, arugula, and LOTS of cheese.

8. What is one crazy thing you'd one day like to do? I want to crash my friend Scalex's (the S. Alex mentioned above) first book signing. I'd like to get the four of his beta readers together and surprise him by showing up. (No small feat since we're spread all over the country.)

9. What fandoms are you a member of? A lot. Harry Potter, Mistborn, Sherlock, Doctor Who, Terry Pratchett, Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, White Collar, Psych, Lark Rise to Candleford, Elizabeth Gaskell, Warehouse 13, Owl City, The Piano Guys.... There are many more but I'll stop there.

10. What social media sites are you on? Facebook, Pinterest, and Goodreads are the ones I'm on the most. I also have Twitter and Google+ accounts, but I almost never log on to those sites.
11. What writing projects are you currently working on? I just started a new round of revisions for Noxumbra. I'd also like to play around with Adventures in Editing, but I'm not sure when I'll get to that.

As for nominations, I nominate anyone who reads this. I don't feel like selecting a bunch of blogs, so if you want to have this award, I hereby give it to you. Enjoy!

The Reader Appreciation Award

So, I got another blog award. Weird.  My blog stats drop below sea level and the BAM, I get two blog awards (three, if you count the one I got twice).

I have three hypotheses for this:

  1. My readers have subscribed via email and read the post in their inboxes, so they create no page views.
  2. The people who gave me the blog awards could think of no one else to award.
  3. My readers are ninjas, and thus their page views don't show up.
I'm going to pretend it's the third.

On to the actual award:

It has a sunflower.  I like sunflowers.

Like pretty much all of the blog awards out there, this one has rules:
RULES:
1. Link back to the person who nominated you.
2. Attach the icon to your site.
3. Answer the attached questions.
4. Nominate bloggers who you feel deserve this award and notify them about their nominations.

Shonti from Dragons, Unicorns, and Other Random Things gave me this one. Thanks, Shonti!

 Questions:
What is your favorite color?
Blue. Or purple. Can't decide.
What is your favorite animal?
That would be the dragon.
What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink?
Hot chocolate, oh yes.  Though my mom's chai is really good too.
What is your favorite number?
Not sure I have one. When I was little, I really liked 256, for some reason. I found out later it happens to be the square of 16.  Apparently I like numbers that are also polygons.
What is your favorite day of the week?
Again, not sure I have one.
What is your favorite flower?
Hmm.  Too many to choose from. I think I'll go with nigela this time.
What is your passion?
Reading, writing, music.
Do you watch television?
No, actually, I don't.  I live out in the middle of nowhere, and the only stations we get out here are various forms of PBS.  I do watch movies, though.
Who is your favorite author?
At the moment, Jill Williamson. This is subject to change.
Do you like 80s movies?
Depends on the movie.
How do you like your eggs?
I like omelets, but "egg in a nest" (a piece of toast with a hole in the middle and the egg fried in the hole) is good too.
When did you discover blogging?
Well, I knew that people blogged before I started blogging, which was just over a year ago.
Why do you like to blog?
Actually it isn't one of my favorite things, but I don't like the idea of giving up on my corner of the blogosphere, so here I am.

And because I'm too lazy to go find people to nominate, I offer this award to anyone who makes it this far down in this post.  Enjoy!

And a goodnight/day/afternoon/whatever it is where you are to you.

I Receive the Liebster Award, Twice

Last week both Victoria from Stori Tori's Blog and Bethany from The Ramblings of a Young Author gave me the Liebster Award. Thanks a bunch, ladies!

The Liebster award is where Bloggers nominate other bloggers they like with 200 followers or less. Any type of blog can be nominated. It's a way to get to know new bloggers and to network with them. Here's how it works:
1. List 11 facts about yourself.
2. Answer the 11 questions the blogger who nominated you left.
3. Ask 11 new questions for those who you nominate.
4. Choose 11 bloggers with less than 200 followers to nominate.
5. Go to each blogger's page and let them know about the award.
6. Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog. (Done!)

Facts:
1. I've been thinking about facts to list since I was awarded, but now I don't remember them.
2. I have to drive with my mom for nine more minutes before I can get my driver's license.
3. I have a strong affinity for glitter.
4. I slip into a British accent once in a while.
5. I'm trying to teach myself to play Forbidden Friendship from the How to Train Your Dragon soundtrack using sheet music from this guy.
6. I'm in the process of changing the first 60k words of my work in progress from first person to third person.
7. I'll have a blog post about it up soon.
8. I bought myself a tricorner hat that I wear sometimes when I write.
9. My sister hates that hat.
10. I just read some of the comments on Victoria's blog, and one of the other nominees mentioned that he has a side character named Victoria, and after reading that, I remembered that I too have a side character called Victoria, who goes by Tori.
11. I just started watching The Lizzie Bennet Diaries.  They're pretty good, but Lydia is SO inappropriate.

Victoria's questions:
1. What's your TV series?
Ooh, that's a toughie. It's a toss up between Lark Rise to Candleford and Doctor Who.
2. Favorite superhero?
Probably Captain America.
3. If you could have any pet whether it is mythical or real, what would it be?
I wouldn't mind a small dragon. One that was trained not to burn the house down.
4. If you could live in the world of a book or movie, which one?
I'd live in the world of Doctor Who, because then I could borrow the TARDIS and go wherever I wanted whenever I wanted.
5. Favorite music artist?
Probably The PianoGuys. I love their new cover of Taylor Swift's Begin Again. Oh, but Owl City is really good too...
6. What is your favorite scent?
Vanilla.
7. Hunger Games or Twilight?
Well, I haven't read the Hunger Games, and I haven't read the last Twilight book. But if I had to be stuck somewhere with nothing else to read, I'd go with the Hunger Games.
8. Motorcycle or car?
Car. One of my mom's friends broke both arms in a motorcycle accident last year. After that, it would take a very substantial bribe to get me on one of those things.
9. Favorite cookie?
Butterscotties. Or chocolate chip cookies.
10. What is a quirk about yourself?
When I have writers' block, I build towers out of whatever happens to be on the table. Drinking glasses, medicine bottles, pencils, notebooks, calculators...
11. Do you have a favorite blog?
Go Teen Writers is the one I follow the most regularly.

Bethany's questions:
1. Do you have siblings? How many?
I have one younger sister.
2. Checkered or plaid?
 Plaid, especially Scottish tartans.
 3. Favorite food?
Cheese.
 4. How much wood did the woodchuck chuck?
I saw somewhere that you can ask Siri that popular tongue twister, so I did, and she said "A so-called woodchuck (correctly speaking, a groundhog) would chuck - that is, throw, - as much as the woodchuck in question was physically able to chuck, if woodchucks in general had the capability (and, presumably, the motivation) to chuck wood."  Okay then.
 5. Favorite fantasy world?
Ooh, good one.  It's a toss up between the world of Harry Potter and Er'Rets from Jill Williamson's Blood of Kings trilogy.
 6. Hot chocolate or coffee?
Hot chocolate, hands down.
 7. What is your favorite musical?
Toss up between The Music Man (the Robert Preston version) and Disney's live action version of Cinderella. Silly, I know, but I've loved that movie since I can remember.
 8. Would you rather eat a raw squirrel, or moldy doughnuts? :P
*Swallows* Um, I think the moldy doughnuts.
 9. On a scale of 1-10 how much do you enjoy reading?
Eleven.
 10. Favorite book?
Oh, lordy.  I never know how to answer this question. Of the books I've read recently, Entwined by Heather Dixon is my favorite.
 11. Cold weather or hot weather?
Hot. I can tolerate outrageous heat, like we had last summer, but I DO NOT like the cold.

My questions:

1. Windows or Apple?
2. If you could change your name to anything, would you change it, and if so, what would you change it to?
3. What's your favorite car?
4. If you could play any musical instrument instantly, which would you choose?
5. Murder mysteries or romances?
6. Favorite fairytale?
7. Brownies or cake?
8. Would you rather wear neon pink or neon green?
9. Buttons or zippers?
10. If you could visit any point in time, which would you choose?
11. Do you think eleven questions is too many?

All righty, I nominate:
Pheris at The Word Asylum
And YOU. That's right.  If you want this award, take it. It's yours. Enjoy.

See y'all later.

Sarah F. Brings Me Back to the Blogoshpere

I had not had a decent post idea in a while, and was just wishing someone would award me an excuse to post, when Sarah F. from Inklined gave me The Fantastic Blog Award.

Thank you, very much Sarah!

Like 99.9% of awards, this one has rules.

1.  Thank the person who gave you the award. (Done!)
2.  Answer the five questions given to you, and ask the next person five new questions.
3. Award five people.
4. Post the rules. (Also done!)

Sarah's questions are:
1. What is your favorite part of blogging? Well, I'd have to say the other bloggers I meet.
2. What are some of your favorite blogs?  See my Great Blogs! list on the right.
3. Are there any blogs you follow that have really huge followings? Go Teen Writers just topped 500 followers!
4. What's your favorite subject to read in? To write in? I'm assuming by subject, Sarah means genre. (If I am mistaken, Sarah, please correct me).  Reading:  I like fantasy, mystery, some paranormal stuff, and historical fiction.  To write: I've written 1.5 mysteries, and I must admit that I love figuring out motives and clues and stuff.  This year for NaNoWriMo, I will attempt my first fantasy, and it will also be a mystery. So, I guess mystery.
5.  If you could interview one author on your blog, who would you pick? Ooh, tough question. I really have no idea.

My questions are:
1.  If you were a dragon, what color would you be?
2.  If you were only allowed to write in one genre for the rest of your life, which would you choose?
3.  What was the last book you read?
4.  Did you like it?
5.  What is one school subject that is being force-fed to your brain you are taking this year?

I nominate:
Allison @ Allison's Bookish Life
Erin @ Laughing at Live Dragons
Sarah @ Comfy Sweaters, Writing and Fish.
Pheris @ The Word Asylum
Liam, Head Phil @ This Page Intentionally Left Blank

In other blogging news, since I was awarded this award, I've had five post ideas.  Now I have a request: Someone please threaten me with something creative if I don't actually post.  (Disclaimer: any threats posted in the comments may be used in future stories).

Have a great week, all!

The One Lovely Blog Award

Liam, from This Page Intentionally Left Blank, has given me another blog award.  This one is called The One Lovely Blog Award, in case you couldn't figure that out from the title of this post.

This award comes with three rules:
1. You have to thank the person who nominated you on their blog to receive your honor.
2. You have to tell 7 things about yourself and human canoe counts!
3. You have to nominate 15 blogs and then tell them of their nomination!

To these rules I shall comply, though I find myself at a loss as to what "human canoe" is.

So, thanks Liam, for passing this award on to me.

For the facts:
  1. There are very few TV shows that my family likes that aren't science fiction or murder mysteries.
  2. My middle name starts with an "M".
  3. I'm typing this with a pony tail holder holding the three middle fingers on my left hand together.  It feels kinda weird.
  4. I can't decide whether to make one of my characters a lord or a beekeeper.  Or both.
  5. I prefer romance stories where one of the romantically entangled gives up fame/fortune to be with the other romantically entangled person.  The only two romance based story ideas I have are like this.
  6. My favorite song of the week is Peponi by ThePianoGuys, which is a cover of Coldplay's Paradise.
  7. My garden is in desperate need of weeding.  And rain.
Now I have to nominate.  Hmm.... Liam has nominated most of the blogs I read already.  Fizzle frogs. Well, I won't be able to do 15, but I can do:

The Life of a Teenage Writer
Allison's Bookish Life
Inklined Writers
The Fiction Dairies

Four is all I can think of at the moment, so that is all I shall do.  If I missed your blog, feel free to scream at me in a comment.

That's all for me, chaps.  Have a nice day, and remember to keep an eye out for pink dragons.

Double Awards

So, I got two awards.  I shall show you them in a minute, but first I need to apologize to the ladies who gave them to me for not getting this post up sooner. Sorry, Katie and Sarah F!
Now, on to the awards.

First up, the Kreativ Blogger award:
Lovely, isn't it? Thanks very much to Katie over at The Fiction Dairies.
Okay, the rules:
I have to answer 10 questions about myself, share 10 random facts about myself, then award this to 7 kreativ bloggers.
This I can do.

Questions:

What is your favorite song? I have to pick just one? Drat.  Well, the one I've been listening to the most lately is Stand by Rascal Flatts.  Just a Kiss by Lady Antebellum and Back to December by Taylor Swift are close seconds.

What is your favorite dessert? Chocolate.  'Nough said.

What ticks you off? Bad grammar/spelling.  And songs that have a great melody, and then turn out to be inappropriate. Also the fact that Blake Shelton's song Drink on It hit number one before Jason Aldean's Flyover States.

When you're upset, what do you do? Mope.

What is your favorite pet? Cats.  I've wanted a black cat for ages.

Which do you prefer: black or white? Depends.  If we're talking clothing, black.  Wall color, white.

What is your attitude? I'm normally pretty happy and easygoing.

What is perfection? Brie with bacon and arugula.

What is your guilty pleasure? Chocolate.

Facts:
  1. I only have one chemistry test left.
  2. I have broken my happy ending policy.  For writing, anyway.
  3. My family has two bee hives.
  4. My room is green.
  5. I call my computer Tish, my MP3 player Silvie, and my USB drive Lizzie.
  6. Because I'm homeschooled, I can go to prom four times.
  7. Peacock feathers are cool.
  8. Sometimes I wish I was a tree nymph.
  9. I had bratwurst for dinner last night
  10. I changed my main character's age in my work in progress.
I pass this award to:
Sarah F. from Inklined Writers
Sarah from Comfy Sweaters, Writing, and Fish
Pheris from The Word Asylum
Liam from This Page Intentionally Left Blank
Erin from Laughing at Live Dragons.

Next up is The Booker Award, awarded to me by Sarah F. from Inklined Writers:
Thanks, Sarah!

Rules:
  1. This award is for book bloggers only. To receive this award the blog must be at least 50% about books (reading or writing is okay)
  2. Along with receiving this award, you must also share your top five favorite books you have ever read. (More than five is okay)
  3. You must give this award to 5-10 other lucky book blogs you adore.
Okay, here goes.
Top books (in no particular order):
  1. The Harry Potter books by J. K Rowling
  2. The Trixie Belden books by Julie Campbell and Kathryn Kenny
  3. Goneaway Lake and Return to Goneaway by Elizabeth Enright
  4. Laddie by Jean Stratton Porter
  5. The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini.
Okay, now to pass this award to:
Katie from The Fiction Dairies
Liam from This Page Intentionally Left Blank
Sarah from Comfy Sweaters, Writing, and Fish
Pheris from The Word Asylum
Erin from Laughing at Live Dragons.

Thanks again to Katie and Sarah F!

Houston, We've Been Tagged...

I've been "tagged", which, from what I can tell, is basically the same thing as a blog award, minus the creepy picture (remember Mrs. Sparkly?).

So, thank you to the lovely Sarah, of Comfy Sweaters, Writing, and Fish, who tagged me. On to the details.

Part one: Rules

  • You must post the rules
  • Post 11 facts about yourself
  • Answer the questions set for you by the tagger in their post, and then create 11 new questions to ask the people you tag.
  • Tag 11 bloggers, however, you can break this rule and tag fewer people if you want. Make sure to hyperlink their names/blogs.
  • Let them know you've tagged them!
  • Have fun!
Part two: The eleven facts about me.
  1. I spelled "eleven" up there as "elven" the first time.
  2. I like to cook and to garden.
  3. I like to cook with the things that come out of the garden.
  4. I like peacocks.
  5. I have this thing for rocks and fossils. As in there are at least three big buckets of rocks hanging around my yard.
  6. I also have a thing for glitter, but I don't have big buckets of glitter hanging around.  Only small buckets.
  7. I make some of my own jewelry, which is why I have way too many pairs of earrings.
  8. I like country music.
  9. I prefer shorts/pants over skirts/dresses.
  10. Last year I made my own prom dress.
  11. If you had told me six months ago that I would write a novel in a month, I would have thought you were crazy.
Part three: Answering the taggers questions
  1. Are you allergic to anything?  What?  Nail polish, actually. I think it's the acetone I'm allergic to.
  2. Favorite book, album, and television show?  Oh, what a hard question.  Well, television show is easy:  Doctor Who.  Book:...um...It's a toss up between the Inheritance Cycle and Harry Potter. Okay, that's multiple books.  Whatever.  Album: Toss up between Taylor Swift's Speak Now and Celtic Woman's New Journey.
  3. What are your thoughts on teddy bears?  Eh, I'm more of a baby doll girl.  Stuffed sheep dolls, on the other hand, are very nice.
  4. Your favorite art form(s) to create? That you love to read/look at/ evaluate? To create: stories.  To look at: fancy gardens.
  5. In 5 words, describe your relationship with cereal.  It's okay, not my favorite.
  6. What were you wearing yesterday afternoon? Um...I think it was jean shorts and a pink shirt with a weird floral pattern.
  7. Boy bands? Angry Punk girl bands? I quite like Chameleon Circuit, who plays music based on Doctor Who.  I don't know any angry punk girl bands.
  8. Where is the nearest window to where you are sitting and what can you see out of it?  To my right, and I can see the flower garden and the bird feeders.
  9. Pens or pencils? I like pencils, because my hand writing is terrible and I can correct my mistakes.
  10. If you made a mix CD for your best friend what would one or two of the songs in it be?  I don't know.  We don't listen to the same kind of music.
  11. Excellent band name that never was, hasn't been , and should be? Sonic Sardoodledom. For more, see this post.
Part four: My questions
  1. What are your feelings on confetti?
  2. Chickens: with or without hairdos?

  4. The moon or the sun?
  5. Favorite song?
  6. Favorite word?
  7. Carmel or fudge?
  8. Buttons or snaps?
  9. What's your favorite piece of furniture?
  10. If you could go anywhere, where would it be?
  11. If you had to move to a different planet, which would it be?
Part five: People I tagged

The Word Asylum

Hmm.  That seems to be the only blog I read that hasn't been tagged yet.  Oh well, I'm off to notify her now!

Oh, Look, Another Award!

Thanks to Liam, Head Phil, and Erin, I have received another award.  Thank you, guys!  And this one doesn't have a freaky picture!
Here are the rules:
  1. Link to the blogger that gave you the award.  Or bloggers, in my case.  Their links are up in the first sentence of this post (words 3, 4, 5 and 7).
  2. Share seven things about yourself. Okay, umm.... I like to sing, I like to draw, I like to take pictures of flowers, I like to read, I like peacocks, I like dragons, and even though dragons are my favorite animal I have yet to come up with a story that involves some.  Weird, I know.
  3. Pass the award on to 15 bloggers recently discovered. 15?  Well, I can do 2.
Ivy The Page Turner
Rurification

Step 4, (which would be lined up with the other steps, but Blogger is being contrary): Notify blogger recipients:  I'll get to that as soon as I'm done with this post, which is in 5...4...3...2...1... 1/2 ...0!

2+2 = Awards

Last night I was nominated for 4 very odd blogging awards by the same person, and before I get to the awards, I will thank him.  Thanks, Liam.

The first is Mrs. Sparkly's Ten Commandments Award.  I have no idea who Mrs. Sparkly is or what her commandments are, but I know she has weird taste.  The picture below is the thumbnail for this award.
Since I was nominated for this award, I have to answer a few questions/adhere to a few statments:
Describe yourself in seven words: Creative, crazy, writer, Wii-sword-fighting-extrodinaire, book-lover, chocolate-lover, homework-burdened.

What keeps you up at night?: Ideas, and characters that won't keep their mouths shut.

Whom would you like to be?: Myself without all the homework.

What are you wearing now: Jeans, t-shirt, and my pocket knife. Yes, the knife counts. I don't get dressed without it.

What scares you?: The picture this award came with, and these weird questions.

What are the best and worst things about blogging?: The best thing is connecting with fellow teen writers and reading their blogs.  The worst thing is that Blogger tends to throw temper fits and be really annoying.

What was the last website you looked at?: This Page Intentionally Left Blank. Liam's blog, which I am copying these questions from.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?: My homework schedule.

Slankets, yes or no?: I have no opinion on this matter, since I didn't know what a Slanket was until I looked it up a few seconds ago.

Tell us something about the person who nominated you: Liam is the one who nominated me, and I know that he writes really funny blog posts.

Okay, that takes care of Mrs. Sparkly.  I'll do one giant nomination to pass all 4 awards on at the end of this post.

The next award is The Sunshine Award:

The rules for this award are as follows:
Thank the person who gave you the award.  Done.
Write a post about it. Working on it...
Answer the questions that come with it.  More questions? Ack!
Pass it along to ten people and let them know they've received the award. You'll see my list at the end of this post.

Questions:
Favorite color: Blue or purple
Favorite animal: Dragon
Favorite number: 42 (no, I have not read the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy)
Favorite drink: Really dark hot chocolate
Facebook or Twitter: I don't care.  If you want to follow me I have links to my FB author page and my Twitter on my side bar, under my picture.
My passion: Writing.
Getting or giving presents: This isn't a question. But since I have to answer it, I like getting presents better than giving them, but giving presents makes other people happy, so it makes me happy too.
Favorite pattern: Anything that isn't plain stripes. (plaid is okay)
Favorite day of the week: I don't have one.
Favorite flower: I can't pick one.

Okay, another one done. Next up is the Candle Lighter Award:
Thankfully, this one doesn't require anything I haven't done already.  Again, my nominations will be at the end of this post.

And last of all, the Leibster Blog Award:
Rules for the Leibster:
  1. Thank the person who gave you the award.
  2. Link back to that person. (I did that up post)
  3. Copy and paste the award onto you blog.
  4. Present the award to 5 blogs of 200 followers or less.
  5. Let them know they've been chosen by leaving a comment on their blog.
Okay, now for my nominations:

The Word Asylum
Comfy Sweaters, Writing, and Fish
Oh Yeah, Write!

Hmm. Those seem to be the only other blogs I read that are eligible, and two have already been nominated. Oh well, maybe I'll think of more later.
